22 participants from 7 countries of the 8 EROVET partners have been working together on entrepreneurship.

The 4th Staff Training Activity of the EROVET project was held at Institut Escola del Treball de Lleida, located in the city of Lleida, in the west of Catalonia, from 25th February to 1st March.

A group of 22 teachers, representing the countries that form part of the EROVET project have attended this meeting in order to participate in the training activities; to share good practices and methodologies; and to identify successful cases in entrepreneurial prizes, recognitions for enterprising VET centres and training in the creation and management of businesses. Within this process, each partner contributed the experience of its country of origin.

The central axis of the meeting was entrepreneurship and, more specifically, the definition of the bases for:

  • A European Entrepreneurship Prize aimed at VET students.
  • An Entrepreneurship Label to recognise those vocational education training centres in Europe which stand out on account of their work to promote entrepreneurship.
  • An Entrepreneurship Business Management Course aimed at students doing the final courses of their vocational training cycles at educational centres that are partners of the project.

In addition, during the meeting, there were multiple conferences given by experts on entrepreneurship such as Mr Gorka Bartolomé, CEO of Do-Ceo training, Master Certified Coach and ICF Registered Mentor Coach and Mr Victor Falguera, manager of AKIS International.

There were also two guided visits to get to know the Parc Científic i Tecnològic Agroalimentari de Lleida (Lleida Agri-food Science and Technology Park) and the monumental complex of the Seu Vella.
